Hosts Gabon eliminated after goalless AFCON draw with Cameroon

Hosts Gabon were knocked out of the African Nations Cup after a 0-0 draw with Cameroon. Hugo Broos’ Cameroon qualified from Group A following the stalemate with Burkina Faso topping the group after a 2-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau. Gabon only had themselves to blame after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s awful early miss in Libreville while Denis Bouanga hit the post in stoppage time.
